Flight listing policy and procedures 

  • All staff must list and ticket via myIDTravel. 
  • Travelers are encouraged to download the FlyDelta App to view their flight status and monitor the standby list. 
  • Non-revenue travelers are encouraged to cancel their listing if their plans have changed.

Baggage and Pets 

  • Travels are permitted to check up to 2 bags free of charge within standard baggage allowances. Fees may apply for overweight or oversized baggage. Refer to Baggage Overview - Delta Air Lines for full details. 
  • Travelers are permitted one carry-on bag and one personal item. 
    • Since non-revenue travelers are often the last to board, you may be asked to check your carry-on bag at the gate.  
  • Pets in Cabin  
    • Pets count toward standard carry-on allowance.  
    • Check Pet Travel Overview - Delta Air Lines for full information on Delta's PETC policy. 
    • Non-revenue travelers must not call reservations to add a PETC SSR to your PNR prior to the date of travel. The SSR must be requested at the airport on the day of departure during check-in with a Delta agent. 
    • The number of cabin pets allowed on each flight is limited.  Cabin pets will only be accommodated if the allowable number of cabin pets on the aircraft is not reached after all revenue passengers and their cabin pets have been boarded. 
    • Standard acceptance rules, kennel size guidelines, documentation requirements (as applicable) and destination embargos apply. 
    • OAL employees must pay the PETC fee. 
  • Pets in Cargo are not accepted by Delta for non-revenue passengers. 
  • Delta does not accept emotional support animals.

Check-in 

  • Within 24 hours of departure, check-in is available at www.delta.com.You will be given a seat request card at check-in.  
    • Check-in closes 30 minutes prior to departure or 45 minutes if you’rechecking a bagfor domestic flights and 60 minutes prior to departure for international flights. 
  • Seats will be assigned at the gate. Travelers can monitor the screens at the gate or the FlyDelta App to see their seat assignment.  
  • Non-Revenuetravelers must be at the gate 35 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure for domestic flight and 60 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure for international flights.

SkyClub Access 

  • Access to Delta Sky Clubs is embargoed for all travelers using nonrevenue travel, including Leisure and Duty travel. 
  • Purchasing and refunding a confirmed ticket, with no intent to fly, to access the SkyClub is a violation of this embargo.

Dress Code 

 

Here are a few things to remember: 

  • Look down – Bare feet are not acceptable; footwear is required unless prohibited due to a disability or physical condition. 
  • Keep it clean – Your clothes, hair, and overall appearance should be clean. Do not wear dirty, stained or torn clothing. 
  • Keep it clean, part 2 – Do not wear clothing that is vulgar, offensive or suggestive. This includes clothing that is sheer or inappropriately revealing. 
  • Bermuda shorts, sandals and flip-flops are allowed; however, bikinis and trunks are for the pool and beach – Swimwear, underwear and pajamas have their place – but it isn't on a plane. 
  • Tattoos that may be offensive, vulgar, obscene (including profanity or nudity), controversial, inflammatory, or otherwise inappropriate in nature should not be visible.  When in doubt, tattoos should be covered. 
  • Looking good means being well-groomed, neat, and clean.

 Refunds 

  • Travelers are encouraged to request refunds via myIDTravel within 3 days of the date of travel on the ticket for the quickest refund.  
  • If the PNR is no longer active, ZED refunds will be manually processed.
