Flight listing policy and procedures

  • Listing - Listing is mandatory on Aeromexico flights. You should be listed at the airport in the AM Counter the same day of the flight unless your flight start in Europe you should be listed via Call Center:  UK and Ireland 0800 977 5533 / France 0800 916 754 / Spain 900 995 282 / Holland 0800 0224008.

If your original travel listing date has passed, you must access your ticket on myIDTravel and list again for your new travel date. Once the payment is validated, you will automatically receive an itinerary receipt by email.

  • For eTickets beginning with a ticket number that is NOT 139 (through myIDTravel or any other system), passengers may list at Aeromexico’s counter the day of travel at least 120 minutes for international departures and 90 minutes for domestic departures.

Visas and Passports and API

  • Passengers are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, including visas and specific permits which may be required under the legal and regulatory provisions in force in departure, arrival and transit States, and must comply with the requirements of the authorities of these countries regarding immigration and border checks.   The Carrier may not be held liable for the consequences suffered by Passengers in the event of failure to comply with the obligations referred to in the paragraph above.

  • Aeromexico has been called to strike for the Flight attendant  Union, in case that the labor strike start in the first minute of June 1st, 2013, Aeromexico will apply an EMBARGO period for Interline tickets (Duty and Travel) FROM JUNE 1st TO JUNE 7, 2013.

Baggage

Cabin baggage

  • Hazardous materials Personal care items containing hazardous materials (e.g. liquids, perfume, gels, aerosols) totaling 3.4oz/100 ml or less per bottle may be carried on board the aircraft. The 3.4 oz/100 ml bottles must be in a 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag. Each customer is allowed 1 quart-sized bag which must be placed in a screening bin.

Check-in

  • Check-in - Non Revenue passengers are required to check-in at Aeromexico's ticket counter at least 90 minutes prior for domestic departures and 120 minutes for international departures.

Salon Premier.

1.       Valid Salón Premier membership card and same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico and SkyTeam airlines, or airlines flying to routes AM does not serve, except low cost carriers. Members may access Salón Premier lounges with up to two guests or immediate family (spouse, children, siblings or parents) with same-day boarding pass on same flight.

 

 

One guest per Member at SkyTeam and shared airport lounges abroad, except the Air France Lounges.

2.       Passengers with a Complimentary Salón Premier Pass and same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico flights. Admittance to the entire Salón Premier network in Mexico, with same-day boarding passes. Passengers with a complimentary pass may access Salón Premier with one guest with same-day boarding pass on same flight.

 

 

3.       Valid One Day Pass purchased at a Salón Premier with same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico and SkyTeam airlines, or airlines flying to routes AM does not serve, except low cost carriers. Admittance to the entire Salón Premier network in Mexico, with same-day boarding passes. Passengers with One Day Passes purchased with Premier Points may access Salón Premier with one guest as long as the Club Premier accounts have enough Points to purchase the Pass, which must be authorized by showing the Club Premier member's government-issued ID. Access is personal and does not include guests.

1.       Passengers traveling in Clase Premier on Grupo Aeroméxico flights with same-day boarding pass. Also applies for customers traveling in Clase Premier on international flights, connecting to another aircraft for travel in the Economy or Clase Premier cabin. Does not include guests.

 

2.       Customers traveling with Award Tickets in Clase Premier, with same-day boarding pass on Grupo Aeroméxico flights. Does not include guests.

 

3.       Customers traveling with an Upgrade (paid or based on the Club Premier status) with same-day boarding pass on Grupo Aeroméxico flights, including Club Premier Oro Customers with confirmed Upgrades, without guests.

 

Customers with upgrades obtained in the following cases do NOT apply:

·      Irregular flight operations

·      Customers traveling in F class that did not pay their access to the lounge

7.      Customers traveling on flights operated by Aeromar (VW), and sold with an AM code, subject to Salón Premier admittance rules.

 

 

8.       Valid TITANIO Club Premier membership card and same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico and SkyTeam airlines, or airlines flying to routes AM does not serve, except low cost carriers. Members may access Salón Premier lounges with up to two guests or immediate family (spouse, children, siblings or parents) with same-day boarding pass on same flight. SkyTeam and shared airport lounges abroad accept only one guest per member.

9.     Valid Platino and/or Corporate Platino Club Premier membership card and same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico and SkyTeam airlines, or airlines flying to routes AM does not serve, except low cost carriers.

 

 

Members may access Salón Premier lounges with up to two guests or immediate family (spouse, children, siblings or parents) with same-day boarding pass on same flight. SkyTeam and shared airport lounges abroad accept only one guest per member.

 

 

10.    Special Authorization issued by Senior Management and the Customer Experience, Customer Services, and Corporate Airport Divisions, the International Mexico City Airport Flight Management Services, Airport Managers responsible for Salón Premier operations, and the Salón Premier coordinators, upon sending a written notice to the corresponding lounge.

 

11.    ValidDirector's Club card with same-day boarding pass and government-issued ID on Grupo Aeroméxico flights.

 

 

Access includes one guest traveling on the same date and flight.

12.    Aeroméxico Directors and Managers and other employees holding direct access authorizations issued by Senior Management, Customer Experience, Customer Services, the Corporate Airports Division, the International Mexico City Airport Flight Management Services, Airport Managers responsible for Salón Premier operations, and the Salón Premier coordinators, upon sending a written notice to the corresponding lounge.

 

13.    Valid Aeromexico Shareholder Benefits (PBA) cardholders, for travel on any airline. Admittance includes discretionary admission for all travel companions as guests.

 

 

14.    Elite Plus SkyTeam members traveling in Economy on flights operated by Grupo Aeroméxico or on international and/or connection flights operated by SkyTeam member airlines, with same-day boarding passes and valid membership cards. (Subject to restrictions based on bilateral SkyTeam airline policies). Elite Plus SkyTeam members may access Salón Premier with one guest with same-day boarding pass on same flight as the cardholder, or another international SkyTeam flight. 

15.       Valid Priority Pass or Lounge Club members with same-day boarding pass for travel on any carrier, except regular and low cost Mexican carriers. Restrictions apply to the number of guests allowed based on Lounge capacity. Acceptance of this card is limited to the T1 and T2 Salón Premier Lounges in the Mexico City International Airport and Terminal B at the Monterrey, Mexico International Airport.

16.         COPA customers traveling in Business Class with same-day boarding pass or valid Star Alliance Gold card. COPA customers with COPA invitation in GDL, MEX, and MTY.

 

 

17.         Valid The Platinum and The Gold Card American Express Aeroméxico cardmembers with same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico flights. Applies only to the Salón Premier Lounge network in Mexico. Cardholders may access Salón Premier with up to three guests traveling on the same date and flight.

 

18.         Valid The American Express Gold Corporate Card Aeroméxico cardholders with same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico flights. Applies to the entire Salón Premier network in Mexico. Cardholders may access Salón Premier with one guest traveling on the same date and flight.

 

19.         Valid Santander Aeroméxico Platinum cardholders with government-issued ID and same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico flights. Cardholders can access the Salon Premier lounges in Mexico twice a year with two guests (immediate family or friends) traveling on the same flight.

 

20.         Valid Santander Aeroméxico Infinite cardholders with same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico flights. Cardholders can access the Salon Premier lounges in Mexico twice a year with two guests (immediate family or friends) traveling on the same or different flights.

21.               Valid Banamex Citi Beyond cardholder with same-day boarding pass and government-issued ID for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico and SkyTeam airline flights, except in GDL and MEX T2.

 

Admittance includes immediate family and up to four guests, after which each additional guest must pay 30 USD, plus VAT. 

 

22.              Valid Banamex Platinum or Travel Pass Elite Level cardholders with government-issued ID and same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico or SkyTeam airline flights.

 

 

Access to all Salón Premier lounges, except GDL and MEX T2 includes immediate family and up to four guests, after which each additional guest must pay 30 USD, plus VAT. 

 

23.              Valid Diners Club cardholders with government-issued ID and same-day boarding pass for travel on any airline except regular or low cost Mexican carriers. Complimentary access to the Salón Premier Lounge network in Mexico is limited to the primary Diners Club cardholder. All Diners Club cardholder guests must be registered online, so Diners Club can charge the primary cardholder the guest fee. Children under age two are admitted free of charge.

 

24.              Valid Aeroméxico Visa cardholders with government-issued ID and same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico flights, with complimentary coupon obtained when they acquired the card. Cardholders may access the lounge with one guest Sunday through Wednesday. Admittance is limited to the primary cardholder on Mondays and Tuesdays.

25.              Valid Aeroméxico Banamex White Gold cardholders with access-coupon issued by Banamex with same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico flights. Applies only to the Salón Premier Lounge network in Mexico.

 

Includes one guest traveling on the same date and flight. The Salón Premier agent must retain the coupon, which is not transferable, which cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be replaced if lost. Cardholders must show their card and coupon for admission to the lounge.

26.         Valid Aeroméxico Banamex Platinum card with same-day boarding pass for travel on Grupo Aeroméxico flights. Applies only to the Salón Premier Lounge network in Mexico. Includes complimentary access for one guest traveling on the same date and flight with the primary cardholder.

Aeroméxico and other airline employees and/or Crew members with same-day boarding pass and compliance with the other conditions specified herein and/or presenting one of the cards mentioned above. Airline, airport and industry employees are not permitted access while in uniform or while wearing Grupo Aeroméxico branded apparel or company/airport identification badge (this includes employees of other airlines, private and corporate aircraft, and charter carriers).

 

NOTES:

 

·         Minors between ages 2 and 17 years 11 months are cardholder guests. All underage and adult guests exceeding the established number of guests, must pay a 30 USD fee, plus VAT.

 

·         Customers with different types of cards used to access Salón Premier, may use only one.

 

·         Primary cardholders or Salón Premier Members must travel in all of the cases mentioned above, with the understanding that access is personal and cannot be transferred.

 

·         Clients holding tickets for travel in Clase Premier with a connecting flight within 24 hours that does not have a Clase Premier cabin.

 

·         Access to the Aeroméxico Salón Premier Lounges is subject to seat availability in each lounge.

 

 

·         Minors under age 18 traveling in the Clase Premier cabin or with a valid card, may access Salón Premier with an adult.

 

Salón Premier Membership and One Day Passes

 

1.       Customers interested in obtaining a Salón Premier Membership card must be Aeroméxico Club Premier Members.

 

2.       Salón Premier Membership may only be acquired by individuals age 18 and older, although minors can hold membership card purchased by an adult. Minors may access the lounges with an adult.

 

3.       Salón Premier Membership includes access to the Aeroméxico Salón Premier Lounge network in Mexico, SkyTeam Lounges and all shared airport Lounges abroad, except the Air France VIP Lounges.

 

4.       The number of Aeroméxico Salón Premier Lounges in Mexico, and shared and SkyTeam alliance Lounges may change without notice.

 

5.       Salón Premier Memberships cost 300 USD plus VAT, while Membership Renewal fees cost 250 USD plus VAT, or 40,000 Premier Points from the Club Premier Member’s account in both cases. Membership costs may change without notice.

 

6.       One Day Passes can be purchased at all Aeroméxico Salón Premier Lounges nationwide for 30 USD plus VAT or 4,000 Premier Points from a Club Premier account. Prices are subject to changes without notice. Membership costs may change without notice.

 

7.       Customers may purchase or renew their Salón Premier memberships and purchase One Day Passes with Electronic MCOs or Gift Cards.

 

8.       Salón Premier Memberships can only be renewed within three months following the expiration date. Renovations after this three-month period shall be considered a new enrollment.

 

9.       Salón Premier Lounge Memberships are non-refundable, non-endorsable, and non-transferable.

 

10.  Salon Premier Memberships are effective for 12 months from the date of purchase.

 

11.    Salón Premier Memberships belong to Aerovías de México, S.A. de C.V. (Aeroméxico), and the company reserves the right to revoke them without notice due misuse, the Member’s inappropriate behavior or failure to comply with the Salón Premier Rules or Terms and Conditions.

 

12.    Salón Premier Memberships are personal and non-transferable.

 


 

General Rules

 

1.       Salón Premier reserves the right to remove any member or visitor for inappropriate conduct, including but not limited to conduct that’s undignified, disruptive, abusive.

 

2.       Government-issued IDs and same-day boarding passes must be presented for access to Salón Premier.

 

3.       Complimentary products for provided for use and consumption in the Salón Premier and may not be removed from the lounges.

 

4.       Food and beverages may not be brought into any Salón Premier lounges.

 

5.       Smoking is not permitted in any Salón Premier lounge.

 

6.       Passengers must listen to flight announcements inside the Lounges, and check the monitors, as flight schedules can change without notice. Aeroméxico suggests that passengers be at the boarding gate 30 minutes prior to their scheduled departures.

 

7.       Salón Premier is not liable for missed flights.

 

8.       Salón Premier is not responsible for items lost or left in the lounge facilities.

 

9.       Pets permitted in Salón Premier include eye-seeing, emotional, mental, motor, hearing and other guide dogs that must remain on a leash and by their owners at all times,

 

10.   and all pets authorized to travel in the Business class cabin according to current SkyTeam policy. The pets must remain in their kennels and by their owners at all times. Travel on SkyTeam airlines will be subject to each carrier's rules and policies. The only animals Aeroméxico does not accept as service animals are arachnids, snakes, and rodents.

 

 

11.   Aeroméxico reserves the right to change, modify or eliminate all or part of the Terms and Conditions for admittance to the Salón Premier Lounge, and to close one or all of the Salón Premier lounges, with or without notice. None of these events shall represent a liability for Aerovías de México, S.A. de C.V.
