Visas and passports
- Passengers are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, including visas and specific permits which may be required under the legal and regulatory provisions in force in departure, arrival and transit states, and must comply with the requirements of the authorities of these countries regarding immigration and border checks. The Carrier may not be held liable for the consequences suffered by passengers in the event of failure to comply with the obligations referred to in this paragraph
Baggage (Leisure)
- One carry-on plus a personal item
- Size carry-on:22 x 14 x 9 inches
- Size personal item: it must fit in the seat in front of you
- The combined weight of the carry on and the personal item must not exceed 44 pounds
Checked baggage (if purchased)
- Size: total of 62 inches (length + width + height)
Pets
- If your pet and its container fit under the seat in front of you, you may take it on board in the cabin. If not, you'll have to check in your pet for its safety and comfort.
- For your pet's safety, check the restrictions by breed before your trip.
- You may add an onboard or checked pet when booking your flights. Look for the travel with your pet option on the select your seat step. For information on costs, go to the additional services fees section.

Boarding policy
- Boarding is done by check in time. When traveling with space-available the passenger must wait for all the other passengers to board and for Voalris staff to check for available spaces before knowing if they will be allowed to board.
Check-in
- Check in via volaris.com or through the app.
Dress code
- Casual Dress is acceptable - Items Not Allowed: beachwear or pajamas, clothing items with holes.
Special service requests
- Special service requests for wheelchairs should be made with reservations and communicated to Volaris staff.
Infant safety seats
- Infant seats brought to the flight must not be wider than 17-20 inches and must weigh less than 11 pounds. *If not used at the flight it must be checked as luggage.
Unaccompanied minors
- Sold separately in the web
- Minors between 5- and 12-years old traveling alone are considered unaccompanied minors and can only travel with “Volaris te Acompaña”.
- From 13 to 17 years old they will have the option of purchasing or not the service.
- In both cases, the minor must first go to a Volaris counter accompanied by a person over 18 years old with their boarding pass.
Refunds
*Unused bookings will not be refunded.
- The only way for Volaris to do a refund is with prior notice (to the flight departure) of at least 3 days to the email address pases@volaris.com
