Flight listing policy and procedures

  • For IET Agreement please send email to Oman Air Staff Travel Office during working hours 07:00AM to 15:00PM Local time (SUN to THU) for listings. StaffTravelTeam@omanair.com .
  • Should be from the official email address only.
  • Provide all information ( Date of Travel , Flight Number, Time  Contact Number, Date of Birth of Infant )
  • Listings are mandatory and recommended for acceptance priority.

Visas and Passports and API

  • Travelling staff/family should ensure that they hold a valid passport and relevant visas for their intended destination and/or scheduled points en route, incase off-loading becomes necessary.
  • In the absence of valid passport / visas, staff passengers may be denied boarding.

  • Embargo Period is imposed yearly between 01 December and 31 January,  15 June and 15 September.

Boarding policy

  • As per industry practice ZED passengers will have lower priority over WY revenue passengers.
  • WY staff will have a higher priority over other airline staff holding ZED tickets.

  • Not permitted for interline Standby (or "Space Available") passengers.

Dress code

  • As per ZED rules.

General

  • WY Stations have obligation to refuse improperly dressed ID passengers.
  • ID Passengers wearing worn-out, dirty or torn clothes, beach attire, jogging outfit etc. will not be accepted on the flight.

Special service requests

Special meals

  • Not permitted for interline standby staff to pre-book special meals.

Seat requests

  • Seat requests are not permitted on Staff Travel. However, if the flight is wide open, the check-in staff may ask your option for an isle or window seat, but this is subject to availability.
  • Even if you are assigned a specific seat at check-in, this may be changed to accommodate commercial requirements, if any.

Infant safety seats

  • Use of safety seat for an Infant is not permitted on board.

Unaccompanied minors

  • Are not permitted for interline standby staff.

Other

  • No other Special service requests are permitted when travelling on Standby / Space Available tickets.

Upgrade policy

  • Please do not ask any WY staff for an upgrade.

Useful extra information

Flight deck

  • Acceptance of any person in the flight deck of WY Aircraft is prohibited.

Insurance

  • Comprehensive Travel Insurance recommended for passengers own benefit, as WY shall not compensate for any injury, illness or loss of money, documents or other personal possessions etc. during the passengers stay away from home.

Back-up tickets

  • WY expects all interline employees and/or their eligible nominees to carry back up tickets issued by their respective employing carrier.
