Travelling
Travelling needs good planning.
Entry regulations of various destinations are different, may require pre-registration or application.
It's important to check the latest entry and regulations for your journey as it is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct documents.
General
- When travelling on staff travel there is no eligibility for many special services such as lounge access, free excess baggage, etc.
- Neither the collection of miles nor any redemption in connection with ID tickets is permitted. Travelling with ID tickets excludes the benefits of a frequent flyer program membership.
- In general staff travel passengers travelling with any kind of leisure journey, even when holding a confirmed reservation, have no access to airport lounges. However, it may be possible to purchase lounge access at a discounted rate through the Riyadh Air App or at an RX lounge subject to space being available.
For all airlines:
- Listing/booking is mandatory for all staff travellers.
- Listing/booking for one flight only.
myIDTravel
- myIDTravel is a self-service tool
- List/book, rebook or cancel your myID trip online only
- Access myIDTravel via own internal direct link
- Confirmation will be sent directly to your email address
Visas and Passports
- The necessary travel documents such as passport, visa or vaccination certificates must be acquired and their validity must be checked by the traveller before starting the trip. Riyadh Air accepts no responsibility for missing or invalid documents. Fines imposed to RX, resulting from non-compliance with official requirements, will be fully passed on to the traveller.

Embargoes
- Please check the Travel Info in myIDT for any applicable embargoes
Baggage
- Baggage Allowance will be shown on your itinerary.
- Riyadh Air comply with the ZED agreement.
- The carriage of baggage of ID travellers is also subject to the space availability and any weight restrictions which may apply to the flight.
- Excess baggage can be arranged through the Riyadh Air App and may include a special rate for staff travellers. Purchase of excess baggage at the airport will be at the regular commercial rate.
- Specific restrictions apply to the transportation of certain objects in an aircraft. Find more details on www.riyadhair.com or the Riyadh Air App
Boarding policy
Riyadh Air employees have priority above employees of other airlines
Check-in & times
- Different according to the standard of the responsible airport - check the Riyadh Air App
- Web check-in possible for Firm travellers and should be used
- When not mentioned at least 60 minutes before your scheduled flight departure.
- Using self-service kiosks when listing already done.
- Mobile check-in also possible when ticketing done via myidtravel.com
- Find all check-in information on the Riyadh Air App
Special Service
- Riyadh Air is not currently able to accept UMNR passengers
- Firm travellers can request any regular seat within their booked cabin, or can purchase other seating such as leg room seating through the Riyadh Air App
- Special meals, where offered, are available for firm booked passengers through the Riyadh Air App
- Wheelchair for passengers with reduced mobility possible for booking.
Dress code on Riyadh Air
All Staff Travellers and their beneficiaries flying with Riyadh Air must comply to a dress code, which meets the RX image and common standards. Failure to observe this dress code may result in a non-acceptance for travel.
Riyadh Air expects a minimum standard of smart casual for staff travellers.
