This page provides information for airlines using IET (Interline Electronic Ticketing) for Duty and Operationally Significant Travelers (OST) / Deadhead crew (DH) on NH flights.

Note: If your airline uses myIDTravel, please refer directly to the ID Agreements in the myIDTravel system. NH does not have ZED agreements via IET.

Important Notice: Japan Domestic Flight RBD Change (Effective May 19, 2026)

The Reservation Booking Designator (RBD) for Economy Class on all NH flights will be unified to X for all travel departing on or after May 19, 2026.

  • Japan Domestic Flights: Changes from N to X.
  • International Flights: Remains X (No change).

Action Required for IET users

All Economy Class bookings for departing on or after May 19,2026, must be made using RBD X. Bookings or tickets made with any other RBD may be rejected at the airport.

Note for myIDTravel Users: Travelers using the myIDTravel portal must refer to the specific ID Agreements between their employing airline and NH, as different procedures and requirements may apply.

Booking for Duty & OST/DH

  • Advance Booking Period:
    • International Flights: 90 days prior to departure.
    • Japan Domestic Flights: 60 days prior to departure.
  • Ticket Validity: 90 days from the date of issuance.
  • Booking Elements: Refer to the Interline Staff Travel Agreement between your airline and NH.

Embargoes

  • International Flights: No embargoes planned unless specified.
  • Japan Domestic Flights: Embargoes apply during the following peak periods:
    • April 25 – May 10
    • August 1 – August 20
    • December 23 – January 10
    • March 20 – March 31

Flights Excluded & Included

  • Included: NH-designated flights operated by NH, NQ (Air Japan), or EH (ANA Wings).
  • Excluded: All codeshare flights operated by other carriers.

Baggage Allowance (Checked Baggage)

The same allowance as for commercial passengers applies.

As of May 19th, 2026, the following allowance will be applied.

International Flights (status quo): Business Class 32kg/2PC, Economy Class 23kg/2PC 

Japan Domestic Flights: Economy Class 23kg/2PC

May be possible for confirmed bookings under the same reservation and issued on the same ticket, provided all other necessary conditions are satisfied.

Dress Code

Employees and their family members should wear modest attire (business casual*) when boarding using the preferential airline tickets.Extremely casual or revealing attire may result in denial of boarding.

Improper attire (examples)
Casual jeans (damaged or washed jeans)
Shorts/extremely short miniskirts/pants with torn designs, etc.
Provocative, tight fitting, revealing clothing
∙ Clothing with offensive pictures or terms
∙ Tank tops, sweatshirts or see-through clothing, etc.
Flip-flops, clogs (geta) , etc.

 In accordance with Mexico regulations, young passengers under the age of 18 travelling alone or travelling with a person who is not their parent/guardian are required to submit the consent letter signed by their parent/guardian.Please download “Consent letter” in advance through our web site, fill it out in Spanish and submit it upon check-in at the airport on the day of departure. Without the document ANA may refuse the carriage.
