Searching for Norse flights on myIDTravel
We want you to fly on us, but a little extra effort may be required. "Norse" should be selected from the airline drop-down menu in order to see our flights on myIDtravel. Norse Atlantic Airways does not use a global distribution system (GDS) that allows for our flights to come up in search results like most other airlines. Because of this, Norse flights will not appear in a general "city pair search" where the airline name is left blank or the "all airlines" option is selected.
It is recommended to search for your desired flights beforehand on www.FlyNorse.com to see flight availability on your preferred dates of travel.
Our route map can be found at: https://flynorse.com/experience/where-we-fly
BizPremium Bookings and Downgrades *IMPORTANT*
1) Norse uses GoNow, a day-of-departure system that does not support downgrades from BizPremium to Economy.
2) Staff Travelers who have access to Norse's BizPremium Cabin and wish to travel in BizPremium must make two bookings--one in BizPremium and one in Economy.
3) To make a booking in BizPremium, select "Business" on myIDtravel or ID90Travel.
4) Upon arrival at the check-in desk, let the agent know that you are a staff traveler with two (2) identifical bookings - one in BizPremium and one in Economy - so they can check you in to the appropriate booking. You will be checked in for the BizPremium booking if BizPremium seats are available at the time check-in closes (1 hour prior to departure).
5) If you arrive at the check-in desk with only a BizPremium booking and BizPremium is full, there is nothing the airport staff can do to assign you a seat in Economy and you may be left behind--even with open seats!
6) Once your boarding card is issued, you can cancel the "unused" booking on the platform where you made your original booking--either ID90travel or myIDtravel.
Baggage restrictions
All Staff Travel tickets (Economy and BizPremium) include:
- one (1) Personal item 40 x 30 x 15 cm / 15.5 x 11.5 x 5.5 in (no weight restriction),
- one (1) Carry-on / cabin bag 56 x 45 x 25 cm / 22 x 18 x 10 in (up to 10kg / 22lbs), and
- one (1) Standard checked bag Maximum of 158cm / 62 in (height + width + length added together; up to 23kg / 50lbs)
Staff Travelers who need additional and oversize baggage are eligible for a Staff Traveler discount by contacting idtravel-manual@flynorse.com at least 72 hours prior to departure. At the airport, the excess baggage charges that apply to revenue passengers will apply to Staff Travelers if you exceed your checked baggage allowance either by weight or number of pieces or both. Please see our service fees page for details.
Norse has baggage restrictions that are stricter than other airlines. If you believe you were incorrectly charged for excess, oversized, or overweight baggage, please do not argue with the ground staff, but instead write to: StaffTravel@flynorse.com
Check-in process
At this time, online check-in is unavailable. Check-in is only available at the ticket counter. At most airports, check-in opens four hours before scheduled departure. Please arrive at ticket counter at least 75 minutes prior to your flight.
Please do not utilize the Priority/BizPremium Checkin Desk unless you have bought Priority Check-in.
The check-in deadline is 60 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure. The agents may clear standby passengers before the 60 minute check-in cut off. Once you are provided a boarding card with a seat assignment, you are good to go! Proceed directly to the departure gate.
Boarding policy
Pre-boarding is available to Staff Travelers
with disability who self-identify as needing additional time or
assistance to board, stow accessibility equipment, or be
seated.
Priority Boarding is available to Staff Travelers who have been
assigned a seat in the BizPremium Cabin or to Staff Travelers who
have purchased the Priority Boarding option on FlyNorse.com.
Staff Travelers with young children will also be permitted to board early.
Meals
Meals have to be pre-ordered on FlyNorse.com at least 24 hours prior to departure. Staff Travelers are able to order the same types of meals as passengers including special meals at the same rate the passengers pay (sorry, our catering costs are very high and we cannot discount the meals). You’re welcome to bring your own food on board.
Staff Travelers are eligible for a 20% discount on all Cafe (food/drink) and Boutique (duty free) sales, except alcohol and tobacco products. Please discreetly show your airline ID to the cabin crew to request a discount.
Documentation requirements
Travel Visas and US ESTA
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the appropriate visa clearance to enter any country you are flying to, or transiting via - this will be based on your country of citizenship and/or residence. This information can be found through each country's foreign travel guidelines:
- Norway
- United States
- United Kingdom
- European Union
- Thailand
- South Africa
If your trip involves a transfer to / from another flight, please ensure that you have the necessary right of entry to the country through which you transit. Typically, you are required to enter that country with your checked bags and pass back through security before continuing your journey. Some airports, e.g., OSL Airport, allow passengers to transfer within the secure zone if they are not traveling with checked bags. Other airports, e.g., LGW Airport, do not allow this.
If you are travelling to the United States as a visitor, we recommend you visit the US ESTA application above.
If you are a non-US citizen or resident flying to the US, you must be able to provide proof of a return flight to US Immigrations upon arrival. Failure to do so may mean that you are denied entry into the US.
Dress code requirements
The dress code for Norse is "smart casual" or better.
It is not permissible to board in an airline uniform unless you are immediately commuting to/from a flight that you operate. When possible, remove or cover insignias and symbols that can identify you as an airline employee.

If you or an eligible traveler are traveling with a service dog, please let us know in advance by contacting Norse Customer Service via FlyNorse.com.

If you are bringing your own mobility device (wheelchair or
scooter), please let us know in advance by logging in with your

Unaccompanied minor policy/Minimum age to travel alone
Norse does not accept unaccompanied minors. The minimum age to travel unaccompanied on Norse is 16 years old.
If you need assistance linking an adult booking to a child booking, please email: idtravel-manual@flynorse.com
Refunds
Refunds for fully and partially unused bookings shall be requested on the travel platform where the listing was originally made (ID90Travel or myIDTravel). If the ID90Travel OR myIDTravel system does not allow you to cancel an unflown booking and it's been at least 72 hours since the departure date of the unflown booking, you can email us at the address below.
Norse is a TICKETLESS airline, which means there is no ticket number associated with your booking. Once a booking is cancelled, it is refunded automatically--there is no need to "cancel, then, refund" like other carriers that provide a ticket number in addition to a record locator.
Refunds for ancilliary items should be sent to: idtravel-manual@flynorse.com
