Lufthansa Group introduces obligation to wear a mouth and nose cover

Your safety and well-being are our highest priority. These past few weeks we have already implemented numerous measures to protect our passengers and staff during the current coronavirus crisis. Nevertheless, it is not always possible to maintain the required physical distance of 1.5 meters when flying. We therefore kindly ask you to use a face mask on all your travels with Lufthansa during your stay at the airport as well as onboard. All Lufthansa Group cabin crew with direct customer contact will of course also be wearing appropriate protection. Together we can ensure that travel remains safe even in times of the coronavirus.

The situation changes almost by the hour, so it's always recommended to check the official Lufthansa website for latest updates.

There are currently no embargoes imposed due to the COVID-19 situation.
