Flight listing procedures

The booking created during the ticketing purchase in myIDTravel is mandatory to travel on LATAM. In case your booking is not valid anymore, you must rebook your flights in myIDTravel as well.

If you have any inconvenience during the rebooking process, please send an email reporting the problem and providing complete information for listing to stafftravel.myid@latam.com.

Payment

Please keep in mind that only Credit Card is authorized for payment on LATAM flights, if you try to pay with Debit Card the payment will be declined.

LATAM will not support manual issuance, in case of any error during the payment process you have to report thought stafftravel.myID@latam.com and wait until the error is solved.

Check-in

You are able to realize your Check-in Standby 48 hours before departure through our website  latamairlines.com > My Trips > Check-in. 

If you have any inconvenience during the check-in process, you can do it directly at the airport where you can print your boarding pass standby at a kiosk where the service is available (Domestic flights within Chile, Perú, Ecuador, Colombia and Brazil) and also for international routes departing from Brazil, otherwise must Check-in with a LATAM agent at the Check-in desk. Staff Travel Check-in desk is available in SCL, EZE, LIM, GRU, MIA and MAD airport for standby passengers.

Baggage

Checked baggage: 1 piece up to 23 Kg free of charge.

Cabin baggage: Each time you fly with us, you may carry one personal item in the cabin (e.g. wallet, laptop bag, baby backpack). In addition, you will be able to take a carry-on baggage that is stored in the overhead compartment of the airplane. 

Comply with authorized dimensions and weights and not contain restricted items or  prohibited items.

Information for COVID-19

LATAM customers and employees are required to wear a face mask, or appropriate cloth face covering over their nose and mouth throughout their travel.

Visa and Passport

Eligible Persons are expected to hold all pertinent travel documents such as passport, visas and health certificate required by the country of destination and points en route, in case offloading should become necessary for commercial or other reasons.

Embargo

There are currently NO embargoes.

Dress Code

Eligible Persons should be dressed in accordance with public standards of good taste. This will normally mean casual wear.

Code of conduct

The commitment for practicing a style of comity and good behavior with each person with which you treat during the process of purchase, check-in and flight, will be required to airlines employees and their eligible travelers.

Refunds

  1. Go to myIDTravel and cancel your booking if still is active, otherwise click on the ticket number and ask for the refund. Until here your refund has not been processed, you need to continue with the second step.
  2. Go to www.latamairlines.com > My Trips > Manage your Trips to find your ticket. If you have any inconvenience go directly to Refund request form.
  3. In case of any question, please check Step by Step refund procedure.
  4. If you have any problem during the refund process, please call our Contact Center and ask for support. Only in case with a problem with the refund process in latamairlines.com, the agent will ask for a Bank account information.

Special service requests for standby passengers:

LATAM will offer free catering service for standby passengers only if it's available. Special meals are not available to any standby passenger.

Boarding policy

Employees with ZED tickets will be accepted according to the boarding priority list same as our LATAM employees.  Employees with ZED tickets will have a lower priority than LATAM employees traveling with their Staff Travel benefits and both of them than our commercial clients.

Unaccompanied Minors

LATAM will not accept unaccompanied children under the age of 16. Children under sixteen (16) years of age may not travel under the terms of this agreement unless accompanied by an adult holding a similar discounted ticket. 

Travel Partner

In LATAM it is mandatory that Travel Partner or Travel Companion must always travel with the employee, for this reason myIDTravel will force the purchase always in company of the employee.
