Flight listing policy and procedures

Flight listing is recommended for all space-available travel, and a ticket number must be provided at the time of listing.

Contact the nearest Gulf Air Reservations Office or Call Centre for listing.

It is the staff passenger’s responsibility to ensure they travel with applicable and valid visas and relevant documentation at all departure/arrival points. In the absence of such documents, staff passengers may be denied boarding.

Out-of-sequence GF policy:

Gulf Air does not accept the use of tickets out-of-sequence. Please note that in case of any issues resulting from such a use, Gulf Air will not accept to receive any claims. To avoid any trouble, please advise your staff to purchase One-Way coupons.

Embargos

Embargoes are applied based on the operating airline’s discretion and are reviewed on a yearly basis. The airline reserves the right to amend or enforce embargo conditions at any time as per operational requirements.

Baggage (Checked & Cabin Baggage)

 Access baggage is provided on a piece-based allowance and is subject to Gulf Air (GF) agreements, applicable rules, and conditions.

Check-in

Check-in either at the standby / staff check-in desk (if available) or at the Economy Class counter. Refer to www.gulfair.com for information on Gulf Air’s standard check-in policy.

Please note that through check-in is not applicable for interline standby staff.

Dress code

Interline Staff Passengers are expected to dress appropriately. Failure to comply may lead to you not being accepted for travel.

RECOMMENDED ATTIRE

  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
  • Choose modest, respectful, smart-casual attire
  • appropriate to a professional travel setting.
  • Collared shirts/blouses; tailored tops.
  • Trousers/chinos; modest, non-ripped jeans;
  • knee-length (or longer) skirts/dresses.
  • Closed or smart footwear.

PROHIBITED ATTIRE WHILE USING STAFF TRAVEL

  • Shorts, short pants, or short/strapless/sleeveless dresses/tops.
  • T-shirts with large graphics or bright/flashy prints; party wear or overly casual items.
  • Ripped/torn denim.
  • Flip-flops, slippers, or casual beach sandals.
  • Any clothing with offensive language, images, or symbols.

PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

  • Be courteous, calm, and respectful with airline and airport staff at all times.
  • Do not engage in disputes or arguments. If issues arise, address them discreetly and
  • respectfully, away from passengers, or escalate through the appropriate internal channels.
  • Staff and their respective family members are expected to conduct themselves professionally throughout their journey.
