Flight booking/listing

  • booking/listing is only possible through myIDtravel
  • booking/listing is required for any flight and is automatically done when using myIDtravel

Check Booking Status

  • sometimes myIDTravel does not show the correct booking status (e.g. a booking might be showing as cancelled or fully refunded, but it should not be)
  • if in doubt, please use www.chair.ch/en and the Booking Management option to check your booking status

Cancellation

  • when trying to cancel a booking/listing, an error message appears
  • please proceed directly to refund the flight (see refunds below) 

Rebooking/Relisting

  • rebooking/relisting is currently not possible
  • please refund the original reservation (see refunds below) and book/list the new flight

Refunds

  • automatic refunds are currently not possible
  • refunds must be requested via e-mail to servicecenter@chair.ch with copy to myidtravel@chair.ch
  • please include the booking reference in your refund request
  • processing of refunds my take up to 30 days
  • please check your credit card statement before contacting us after 30 days have passed 

Check-in

  • online check-in for myIDTravel passengers (standby and confirmed bookings) is possible except from Marsa Alam and Pristina
  • please proceed to check-in desk if online check-in is not possible 

Flights excluded

  • charter flights (for example Pristina-Stuttgart and vice versa) 

Checked baggage allowance

  • 1 piece up to maximum 23 kg per person (child/adult)
  • 1 piece up to maximum 10 kg per infant
  • a stroller or child seat can be checked in additionally if travelling with small children or infants

Cabin baggage allowance

  • 1 piece up to maximum 8 kg per person, maximum size 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm 

Travel Documents and Visas

  • it is in the responsibility of the passenger to be in possession of all valid travel documents

Dress code and conduct

  • Chair only has one travel class (economy). For this, we ask you to dress appropriately
  • please be courteous to airport staff, airline staff and your fellow passengers
