Flight listing policy and procedures

  • Listing and Ticketing may be made online via www.myidtravel.com 
  • If you already have a ticket # issued by your carrier (i.e., the ticket number does not begin with 306) and just need to list for a 9K flight, please call our Res office at 800-227-3247.

Checking In

Online check in is available within 24 hours of your departure time, EXCEPT from the following cities: Tortola, Virgin Gorda and New York/JFK

If you ARE checking bags: 

  • Departing from Boston, Billings, Chicago, St. Louis, San Juan, St. Thomas, or St. Croix, please be at the ticket counter at least 45 minutes before departure time.
  • Departing from all other cities, please be at the ticket counter at least 30 minutes beofre departure time.
  • Our agents at our ticket counters will also collect passenger weights at this time.

If you are NOT checking bags:

  • Departing from Boston, Billings, Chicago, St. Louis, San Juan, St. Thomas, or St. Croix, you may use your online boarding pass to go directly to the TSA screening checkpoint and go to the Cape Air gate. You must recheck with a Cape Air agent 30 minutes before departure time at the gate, as we must collect passenger weights, weigh your carry on baggage and complete check in at the gate.
  • Departing from all other cities, you must recheck with a Cape Air agent 30 minutes before departure time at the airport ticket counter, as we must collect passenger weights, weigh your carry on baggage and complete check in requirements.

  • Baggage Allowance 1+1+1
  • 1 checked bag- maximum 50 lbs/62 linear inches
  • 1 gate checked bag, small enough to pass through TSA gate screening
  • 1 small personal (wing) item, such as brief case or small lap top
